I joined Prof Simon Draper's Blood-stage Malaria Vaccine programme in 2016 as a post-doctoral virologist. My current works combines viral vectors and monoclonal antibodies, both for P. falciparum and P. vivax. I am particularly interested in antibody delivery and engineering, as well in developing novel viral vectors as innovative immunological interventions.
Prior to joining the Draper group, I obtained a PhD in molecular virology from King's College London for my work on several aspects of adeno-associated virus biology, carried out in the laboratory of Dr Els Henckaerts and Prof Michael Linden. I hold an engineering MSc degree in Life Sciences and Technologies with a specialisation in molecular medicine from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL).
I am a Junior Research Fellow at Wolfson College, a Retained Lecturer in Medicine at Pembroke College, and a guest lecturer on the Biological Therapeutics MSc course.
