In April 2022, Carolyn attended the Keystone symposium “B cell-T cell collaboration: regulation and dysregulation” in Hanover, Germany. The conference was hosted at the Herrenhausen Plaza, which had lovely grounds to wander through during breaks (though probably more impressive later in the year)! A major focus of the meeting was on B cell output from germinal centre reactions, with excellent sessions on immunity to infection, germinal centre selection, and keynote talks from Michel Nussenzweig (Rockefeller University) and Garnett Kelsoe (Duke University). Carolyn presented a poster entitled “Delayed booster dosing modulates the human antigen-specific plasma cell response to the RH5.1/AS01B malaria vaccine”.
