I am a graduate student reading for an DPhil in Paediatrics. In the Draper Lab, I work with Dr. Kirsty McHugh on the discovery and analysis of monoclonal antibodies against malaria. My specific research focuses on generating novel chimeric RH5-based protein constructs in order to isolate and further explore epitope-specific antibodies, and on evaluating both existing and new antibody panels through computational models.
Prior to coming to Oxford, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry with honors from Wellesley College, MA, USA, where my senior honors thesis, completed under the advisement of Prof. Vanja Klepac-Ceraj and Dr. Kevin Bonham, investigated the effect of microbially produced neurotransmitters on the behavior of Caenorhabditis elegans.
