I studied Biotechnology (BSc) at the University of Silesia in Poland and undertook my MSc in Analytical Bioscience at the University of Huddersfield. I obtained my PhD in Dr Mark Pfuhl’s lab at King’s College London where I investigated the role, functions and structure of a novel cardiac stress response factor protein, called Ms1.
For my postdoctoral research, I worked on various aspects of ion channels biology (expression studies, biochemical, biophysical and structural characterisation) in Prof Rachel Tribe’s lab at King’s College London and in Dr Tony Jackson’s lab at the University of Cambridge.
I then joined Prof Sebastian Guettler's lab at the Institute of Cancer Research where I worked as a Senior Scientific Officer. My role involved performing experiments as well as day to day management of the lab.
I joined the Draper's lab in September 2024 to work as a Lab Manager and Senior Research Assistant. I manage day-to-day lab running and provide scientific support to the team members as and when needed.
