Fran presenting at Keystone Symposium - Antibodies As Drugs 2022

In April 2022, Fran attended the Antibodies As Drugs Keystone Symposium in Keystone, Colorado, US. She presented a short a talk and poster entitled ‘Generation and characterisation of synergistic broadly neutralising Ebolavirus Glycoprotein monoclonal antibodies’, covering work from her DPhil studies and ongoing collaborations with labs in the US and Germany. The conference covered varied topics including monoclonal antibodies against infectious disease targets; engineering strategies for antibody-based therapies in cancer; as well as having an illuminating session on computational approaches to addressing some of the key challenges in the field. A highlight was a keynote address from Erica Ollmann Saphire on the recent CoVIC consortium.  Nestled in the middle of beautiful Summit County, there plenty of chances for outdoor adventures (after having acclimatized to the altitude!) and it felt like all four seasons were experienced in the four days of the conference.
