A Senior Clinical Trial Programme Manager within the Department of Paediatrics, University of Oxford. I am currently overseeing blood-stage malaria vaccine clinical trials in Africa headed by Prof Simon Draper and Prof Angela Minassian that seek to include testing of first-time-in-human vaccines against malaria parasites, incorporating controlled human malaria infection to test efficacy.
I previously worked as a Clinical Trial Manager at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford, where I oversaw UTI trials aimed at determining the optimal duration of antibiotic treatment for urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women. Before this role, I served as a Clinical Trial Coordinator at the Kenya Medical Research Institute's Centre for Geographic Medicine Research Coast (KEMRI-CGMRC) in Kenya. During that time, I managed several multicentred vaccine trials associated with infectious diseases across Kenya and East Africa, sponsored by the University of Oxford and MSF Epicentre in France.
Through my various roles and responsibilities, I have developed a strong skill set that includes effective stakeholder engagement, adherence to timelines and budgets, and a commitment to delivering high-quality clinical trial results.
