I am a Clinical Research Fellow in the Malaria Vaccine Programme, where I provide medical oversight for study participants and contribute to the design and conduct of clinical trials. Our research focuses on evaluating the safety, immunogenicity, and efficacy of blood-stage malaria vaccine candidates, often using Controlled Human Malaria Infection (CHMI) models.
I completed my Specialty Training in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine in Brazil in 2019. In 2021, I began working as a Clinical Fellow in Infection and Microbiology across several NHS Trusts. Since 2024, I have been based at the University of Oxford as a Clinical Research Fellow, with a particular interest in malaria vaccines.
