I completed my BSc in Biochemistry at the University of Bath, during which I also undertook an industrial placement with an Oxfordshire-based medical diagnostics company. My final-year research project focused on the in-host evolution of Staphylococcus epidermidis in orthopaedic device–related infections.
After this, I held a position at the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, supporting the characterisation of immune mechanisms in lung fibrosis, and later joined the Department of Paediatrics to investigate T cell immunology in paediatric HIV cure/remission strategies. In 2025, I transitioned into my current role with the Draper group, supporting the investigation of pre-clinical vaccine-induced immune responses.
