Draper Group at the BSP Spring Meeting 2022

In March 2022 Simon and Angela presented at the British Society for Parasitology (BSP) SpringMeeting in York. This was the 60th anniversary meeting of the BSP and provided opportunity to reconnect with colleagues in person. Fantastic science, coupled with glorious spring sunshine, made for a terrific week at the University of York. Simon presented a plenary talk entitled “Towards Broadly-Neutralising Blood-Stage Vaccines against Human Malaria Parasites” in the Combative Strategies: Vaccines session hosted by Prof Gavin Wright and Dr Mohamed Osman. Whilst Angela presented her recent work on P. vivax in a Workshop hosted by Prof Paul Kaye on “Advances in Parasitic Controlled Human Infection Models (CHIM)” alongside colleagues from York, hVIVO and LUMC.
