OptiViVax Consortium Annual Meeting 2025 in Cork, Ireland

The OptiViVax Consortium held its annual meeting on 3-4 June 2025 in Cork, Ireland. This event brought together project partners to share exciting advances, laying groundwork across the vaccine research process, including innovations in:

 

• new challenge models encompassing the entire Plasmodium vivax life cycle;

• blood-stage antigen discovery approaches, delivery technologies, and vaccine adjuvantation;

• novel assays to assess transmission-blocking and liver-stage inhibition for future vaccine candidates.
